Now THIS is what I call progress!
Two guys standing around in the freezing cold. I'm sure they were planning their attack.
They'd already cut the old concrete pad and dug the footing for the new wall.
Here's what happened next:
I think the ladder made from materials on hand adds an "organic" touch not available in big box retail outlets.
To celebrate the start of the renovation Steve arranged the car parts into this stunning artistic vignette.
Our new outdoor seating can be seen in the lower left corner.
As I left for the day I looked back at this:
I felt like Lot's Wife.
The next day things actually looked better.
Maybe the shock had worn off.
